Searching very frustrating

There appear to be two separate search text dialogues at the top of the screen. One searches the subscribed podcast metadata, the other is used to find more podcasts. It is not at all clear which one is up at any one time, and it keeps reverting to the first one while trying to use the second.

Another consequence of this,is,losing search results once subscribed.

If I search for e.g. BBC I get a,list of podcasts.. If I I subscribe to one the list is lost.. I have to select search and re-enterthe search criteria before selecting another.

Howsabout a single search box that searches both subscribed & then unsubscripted titles?

Thanks for the bug report. The search feature indeed needs some fine-tuning. We have some big plans for the search feature (discover) that we haven't had the time to implement yet.

I proposed a solution here, that simply keeps you in the search results while changing the subscribe button to reflect that you have subscribed:
