information update does not work properly

When I start the plug using ./run_plug and select an item I get the correct information. When I then select another one the icon will be updated while the text remains the same.

Selecting the another one will update the icon to match the selection. Also the text will be updated, but to the previous selection, so lagging one behind.

I can't reproduce this and also I can't see what's wrong with the screenshot. Please post any command line output you get from running ./run-windowed.

Actually it has something to do with a very delayed refresh, i.e. leaving the screen to make the screenshot triggered an update such that all information was displayed properly. But in the end I managed to make you a screenshot which shows the network selected and network icon but screensaver info.

So somehow the event-loop/redrawing/framebuffer update or whatever it is called is messed up.

This is strange - I still can't reproduce it. Can you ensure you have the latest version and see if you are still having the problem?

This is possibly a Gtk 3.1 issue. More testing is needed, but I cannot downgrade to 3.0 at this machine due to gnome 3.1 deps. I'll test when I have another system available.
