Bug Description

After apt-get install plone3-site, I do indeed get a working zope installation, but none of the plone objects seem to be configured.
The "Add" menu on the root folder does not propose "Plone site" (or any obvious synonym for it).

When I try to import an existing site (site.zexp), I get the following error message:

Site Error

An error was encountered while publishing this resource.

Error Type: ImportError
Error Value: No module named CMFPlone.Portal

If you need support for pre-packacked Ubuntu packages please contact the package maintainers. This issue tracker deals with the CMF source distribution only.

Assign to plone project, hoping that is where the Ubunut packagers for Plone hang out.
