BMPX suddenly closes while trying to play a music

Bug Description

While trying to play a mp3/AUDIO-CD/radio channel BMPX suddenly closes whitout any warning or error message. (Details http://forum.pld-linux.org/viewtopic.php?p=28699 )

Distribution: PLD Titanium
Package: bmpx-0.40.14-1.i686 ( build from cvs )

If you want to build bmpx from cvs, please remember to install package zip, it won't build without it.

Please attach output of the following command:

/usr/lib/beep-media-player-2-bin -l

Note that it works for me on Th.

Crash is caused by missing gstreamer-audio-effects-base package

Marked the gst-a-e-base package as required. Try bmpx release 2 (not yet in Ti).

I tried bmpx relase 3 from cvs and it's no more crashing on Titanium.
