Use a Zoom animation when hovering dock items

Similar to Docky, use a Zoom animation when you hover the dock. Allow setting the zoom percent via the settings file.

Maybe it could work like the dock in mac os x, if you have a lot of icons the icon size is smaller, and there is a Zoom animation if you hover it. Otherwise there is no animation.

Me too. I relay like intelligent hide option of plank, but there is no icon zoom like wbar and docky have...

I've made a primitive magnifying effect on plank dock, but I'm not sure if you guys would support it, if you haven't written it yourself yet, I'd be more than happy to help making a better os x like magnifying effect. The demo is in the video: http://youtu.be/j3ZHb9aptkU

@fatihbakir: The video looks interesting. Please provide a proper patch for the current trunk otherwise it is hard to figure out what you actually did. So please base your work on r1061 and avoid committing generated files.

@fatihbakir: Of course providing a clean rebased git branch would help too. But since bzr is used for our trunk it would be nice to have a branch here on launchpad :-)
