unable to reveal dock with fractional scaling enabled

Bug Description
Plank version: 0.11.89
Distro: Linux Mint 20.2 XFCE (based on Ubuntu 20.04)
Window Manager: XFWM4
X version: 11
Video card: Intel Iris Xe
Plank Installed Through: Linux Mint Software Manager
When scaling is at 1x, I am able to use the Intellihide behavior perfectly. However, when fractional scaling is set to 0.8 in Settings Manager>Display, it will not reveal from the bottom of the screen. Attached are GIF recordings of the behavior at 1x and 0.8x, respectively.

Any suggestions? manually setting my display scaling through console xrandr produces the same behavior.
