Bug Description

Hello, Plank team

I've been using Plank on Linux Mint since version 19 (which is based on Ubuntu 18.04). However, my home directory is separated from the rest of the system, which I decided to do in order to keep my settings "alive", despite which version of Linux Mint comes up (I don't like to be lagging behind), so that I don't have to keep re-editing config files and waste time resetting stuff again and again.
With that said, I've upgraded to Linux Mint 20.1. After reinstalling Plank, its settings (icon size, keep icons unlocked, and even the theme) started working like it used to back on the previous version of Mint, so that's great. But something is not right with Plank, maybe it's because it "imported" those settings it restored from my time with Linux Mint 19. I've noticed this behavior of Plank, as it makes my application icons FLICKER upon clicking on them.
The only time that doesn't happen is when an application is launched. Oh and speaking of, when you launch an application it jumps; if you keep doing that for the same app, over and over again, it used to jump with less intensity, until it would no longer do that. But now Plank does that all the time. Please check the video I made highlighting those odd behaviors.

FURTHER DETAILS:
Plank Version: 0.11.89
Distro: Linux Mint 20.1
Window Manager: Mutter (Muffin)
Video Card: AMD Radeon RX 550
Graphics driver: amdgpu
How Plank got installed: using Linux Mint's Software Manager (store).

Could that be fixed if I remove those files Plank is relying on that have been there since Linux Mint 19? I've already tried sudo apt-get remove --purge Plank, restarted my laptop, then reinstalled. But right after that, the first time I launch it those settings are working again. I don't know where Plank is keeping those settings. Could you please help me out? Thanks for reading this.
