Plank crashes on start up

Bug Description

I'm using plank, ver. 0.11.4.24-0a84. Window manager is gala (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gala-git). Here is the log I got from redirecting output when running cerbere (https://github.com/elementary/cerbere):

GApplication service mode takes no arguments.

I'm also try plank in Arch repository, ver. 0.11.4-2 and got the same behaviour & log as above.

Plank starts successfully if I add `export XDG_SESSION_TYPE=x11` in ~/.xinitrc.

The provided workaround does not work for me on archlinux. Will plank ever be fixed for wayland?
