Bug Description

Some icons appear blurred, versus unity laucher where they appear ok.

Reproduce:
Install MessengerForDesktop 2.0.1 Beta, it should appear blurred in Plank.

This doesn't look related to source of icon, but simply the inability of plank to match this application to a desktop-file.
Make sure the WM_CLASS set by this app matches the StartupWMClass in its desktop-file.

Hey,

Thanks, with xprop I found out: WM_CLASS(STRING) = "messenger for desktop", "Messenger for Desktop"

Where do I get the StartupWMClass?

As I wrote "StartupWMClass=..." should in the *.desktop-file which is shipped with this application.

Thanks, I don't have that issue with unity, it appears only once.

I use this application on Arch Linux with Xfce4 desktop installed. And xcfe4-settings-manager icon is blurry. I had to remove OnlyShowIn property in its desktop file.And it won't be blurry anymore
