Bug Description

I would like to request an option to NOT group windows together.

This is a productivity issue for me. The benefits of an icon plank saves horizontal room, but this is outweighed by the inability to ungroup windows.

I often may have two file manager windows running side by side for drag and drop and it is much easier to be able to selectively minimize and restore individual windows when many are running. I may have up to five windows open, with all but two minimized at any time, each window focused on a different directory or a unique external hard drive.

I'd rather deal with scrunched/shrunken or cut off window buttons in old style (Windows '95-Vista) taskbars, because I can force an ungrouping on, for example, xfce and move around and re-order the buttons and click on one per window.

Thank you for your efforts.

I'd like to "second" this request. The Gnome "dock to panel" extension has this feature as does the Latte dock for KDE, and I personally cannot use a dock without this feature. I'm also one that has multiple instances of text editors or file managers or terminals or documents open and the current dock does not work correctly. Minimize one window, click on the icon to navigate to a specific window, and they all pop back up. Extremely frustrating, as is hunting for the window I want to bring to the foreground.
