Dragging file over dockitem doesn't raise window

When dock is intelligently hidden, hovering directly wanted item does not raise window, I have to hover another item then get back to wanted item to raise up window.

Could you elaborate your problem. I don't understand what you mean.

Simply "hovering" an item doesn't trigger any action.
Is unhiding the dock itself not working properly for you?

There is some more information needed, like eOS and plank versions.

The problem occurs when I want to drag'n drop a file into a hidden Files window.
The first item hovered does not raise the window : I have to move the mouse over another item then get back to the first one, and only then the window comes to front.

Ok, I see. Could you update your system and try to reproduce this.
You should be able to update to 0.5.0+bzr1011-0elementary1~ubuntu12.04.1
