Bug Description

for some reason, this is failing on 18.04 SRU runs:

2.6.2-7841-ga10625be3-0ubuntu1~18.04.1
/tmp/nest-bsxp3ggj.1212bc57f50bb6c5dbe43302074ece1e3db71704463e3d8ed3793186920824ea/maas-version-check.sh: line 34: exit: : numeric argument required

the actual comparison works but the problem seems to be that there is no actual output on success:

ubuntu@gurley:~$ echo "$(dpkg --compare-versions "$maas_version" "ge" $MIN_VERSION)"

ubuntu@gurley:~$

since this was added in during the 1.x to 2.x transition, it's safe to just remove this second check now.
