Bug Description
During regression testing of 20.04LTS in the cert labs, discovered we need to make the following fixes/changes to bin/ipmi_test.py:
-Found we need to support multiple IPMI drivers.
-Cleaned up ipmi_channel & its helper func.
-Syntax cleanup and private variables added.
Have implemented these changes in the attached MR.
