Thanks! this is very strange, why are no disks reported? if you have udisks2 that should be enough, udisks 1.x is not necessary.

Could you please run this with the usb stick inserted:

udisksctl dump > with-stick.txt

Then this with the usb stick removed:

udisksctl dump > without-stick.txt

and attach both txt files for me to look at? (we're not really looking at insert/remove behavior here, but it'll be helpful to look at the differences).
