spell checking does not work on current amd64/live CD

Bug Description
Subject says it all. It works fine on ppc/live.

ppc/live does not have any other l10n related packages installed.
In Toosl->Options, Language Settings -> Languages, I have to change "Default language for documents", "Western" from "German (Austria)" to "English (UK)" (or US); these are the only available languages (with an icon).
Not sure about this, though. My locale is German, but only the English word lists are on the CD. It's just strange that it works on ppc, I will check that default setting there the next time.
