Bug Description
What is a download page good for, if there is no way to download a packages that page?
I did uninstall ethtool because apt-get marked it as obsolete and I didn't check,- just confirmed, silly me in the first place. So I went to:
https:/
But Download is just one of a few meaningless words on that page. The advise to use a package manager isn't very helpful in that case either as you can imagine.
I've had to go to a dirty page to download the package to copy it to a USB and then install it from there.
Look at least a little from the users perspective, except you want to keep Linux as freakware for poeple that could actually write their own OS.
This seems to be a problem specific to armhf architecture (and maybe all other special architectures that are only available at the http:// ports.ubuntu. com repository server). /packages. ubuntu. com/trusty/ amd64/ethtool/ download
For i386 and amd64 architecture the download page does provide links, e.g. https:/
