Error more than one suite specified for trusty, xenial, artful, bionic, and cosmic

Need gpart for Ubuntu 16.4.2 if not later ubuntu version, but can't be found for fiesty, trusty, artful, cosmic, and xenial said keyword to generic please consider using longer keyword or more keywords. Can't find installation candidate. tried sudo apt-get -y install gpart said no installation candidate and package may have another name. tried sudo apt-get -y installl gparted said already installed and newest. tried sudo apt-get -y install git and git clone git http://git gnome.org/gparted, but was taking to long and will try again after reporting this bug. running sudo gparted and attempt data rescue said:

Command gpart not found

Please install gpart and try again

need gpart or to know how to create it to resolve or working alternative solution if possible.

Please notice that fiesty and artful aren't supported releases anymore and thus not covered on the packages website. If you go to https://packages.ubuntu.com/gparted you will find the supported releases containing the package. But yes, apt is probably more convenient to install the package you need.
