Bug Description

One of the goals of Pivip is to provide maximum interoperability, using open standards. It should therefore constantly watch for standards it might support and encourage other services to support them as well.

Obviously this includes keeping an eye on maintaining valid HTML and perhaps one time see if a new version of HTML can be supported. Apart from that, the following specifications are worth taking a look at:

 * FOAF: http://www.foaf-project.org/
 * RDFa: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RDFa
 * MicroID: http://microid.org/
 * XFN (not just broadcasting but also consuming): http://gmpg.org/xfn/
 * OpenID (not just consuming but also providing): http://openid.net/

Any further suggestions are encouraged.
