Bug Description

When using the sound menu or notification icon to Play/Pause you receive a notification via notify-osd although according to wiki.ubuntu.com/NotifyOSD you should NOT be notified, as you know what happen; you just did it.

This could be fixed by adding a bunch of code to pass on whether it was done via the sound menu or notification icon.

But more generally, should it ever display a notification when it's paused or unpaused? If the user does it, regardless of how he does it, he knows he did it, so why does he need a popup to tell him?

The notification provides useful feedback if e.g. you've taken out your headphones and press the pause media key, but is extraneous in other cases. I've made the default to not notify, and modified the mediakeys code to specifically ask for a notification.
