After song paused for too long, buffer will not fill any longer

Bug Description

When I pause Pithos for a few seconds, I can continue the song without any trouble.
However, if I pause it for much longer, when I return it will play through the buffer and then stop with an empty buffer and refuse to play any more.
This may be an issue on Pandora's end, but it would be nice if this were handled better.

I can confirm this on Ubuntu 10.10

The only way to get it working again is to skip to the next song.

FWIW, Pandora's official desktop client (Adobe AIR-based) does something similar: after a song has been paused for a while (don't know the exact length of time - probably over an hour), it will play a bit of the song when resumed, then jump to the next one.

If you leave pithos paused overnight (8hrs), version 0.3.14~bzr181 will freeze.
I have to switch stations and sometimes even close and re-open pithos.

Pianobar handles this by re-authenticating (at least that's what it says it does).

Let me know if this is an unhelpful comment, and I should create a new bug report.

I still get this bug on Oneiric. This happens even on a pause for 2 minutes.
