Bug Description

If "show notification area icon" is selected, the pithos icon is not shown - a generic question mark appears. On right clicking the notification area icon then all options have the same generic icon.

Attached is a screenshot. I'm running on Uubntu 10.04.01 - LTS, on KDE 4.5

I'm using KDE 4.7.2 on Kubuntu Natty. I see the Pithos icon in the tray, but the right-click menu has the same generic icon for all menu items.

I started thinking this was a bug in libappindicator, but I'm guessing #772677 is related, in which case it may be something to do with PyGtk. What seems strange is that other PyGtk apps, like Zim, don't have this problem. But as far as I can tell, Pithos is doing it the standard way, so...?

I've removed the icons altogether in lp:~launchpad-alphapapa/pithos/888778 At least it's consistent this way, and no-icon looks better than broken-icon. Besides, the trend is moving away from icons in menus--I think it looks better, myself.

I was already working on notification_menu, so I didn't make yet another branch for this bug. If it's absolutely necessary I can split the changes into a new branch.
