No icon in notification area

When i have the option to display an icon for pithos in my notification area it doesnt show up. I am running ubuntu 13.10. I will be glad to provide debug info.

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

'python-appindicator' is not installed by default with 13.10.

Workaround:

Install latest version of 'python-appindicator' by using the following command:

sudo apt-get install python-appindicator

Once installed, Pithos works as per design.

Thank you for the report. This will be fixed in the next version of pithos, currently in Debian unstable: 1.1.1-1.
