logins in, but never loads song list or plays anything

Bug Description

Running pithos 0.317 on ubuntu 12.04. Yesterday, pithos was playing fine. Today, it shows the UI, logs in, lists my stations in the drop down, but then nothing. No longs list, nothing buffers, nothing plays. I have tried changing stations, pressing play/pause a few times, removing/re-entering credentials, etc.

I have this exact same issue as well. I am on Ubuntu 12.04 x86_64

Looks to be a problem with mp3-hifi audio format. Switching to mp3 worked for me. See https://bugs.launchpad.net/pithos/+bug/1009343
