Hi,

Pipelight (optionally) uses the installer files from the wine-*-installer packages when they are available and up-to-date, but it should also work without any additional packages installed, and just download everything itself. Moreover for Flash there is no separate package (yet).

Please try the following command:

WINEPREFIX=~/.wine-pipelight WINE=/opt/wine-compholio/bin/wine WINEARCH=win32 /usr/share/pipelight/install-dependency wine-flash-installer

And attach the ouput of this command to your bug report.

Regards,
Sebastian

Hi,

this problem is some kind of bug as a login screen should never load any browser plugins. This may cause serious security issues. The bug was already reported some time ago and is a duplicate of https://bugs.launchpad.net/pipelight/+bug/1318864 and needs fixing by LMDE developers. Pipelight can not decide in which browser it will be loaded. The only workaround is to enable the plugin only for the current user and not in the whole system.
