Bug Description
in fedora20 loading on chrome, with browser ID spoofer set to Windows Firefox 15. Attempting to play video gets me to a page that says: Install the Microsoft Silverlight plug-in now — it only takes a minute and provides a link to an exe file.
it is clearly not recognizing pipelight at all.

Hi,
the reason for this problem is that both Google Chrome 35 and Chromium 35 (which were released two days ago) have removed NPAPI support, the plugin-interface which is used by Pipelight and Silverlight.
All new versions of Chrome/ium will only be able to load their own plugins (like PepperFlash), but no plugins using the popular NPAPI interface. They're also planning to do the same step on Windows till the end of this year, which will make it completely impossible to use Chrome/ium for most VOD services in the near future.
Please take a look at the linked bug-report for more information. The easiest work-around at the moment is to use a different browser, for example Firefox, Midori, Uzbl, ... or do downgrade to a version < 35.
Regards,
Sebastian
