Bug Description
I have upgaded to 14:04, pipelight silverlight no longer works on chromium.
I have tried re-installing it when the browser is closed. This does not work.
When I go into about:plugins, pipelight is not there.
It works fine in firefox, which is weird, cause I was having problems with pipelight in firefox under 13.10, but that problem is now fixed, however I would like to have pipelight in chromium.
Any suggestions please?

Hi,
the reason why it is not working is that Google is dropping support for NPAPI. There was a decision to backport the changes which break NPAPI from Chromium 35 (which is a beta version) to version 34 on Ubuntu Trusty to test the reactions (see https:/ /lists. ubuntu. com/archives/ ubuntu- desktop/ 2014-April/ 004462. html ). So basically Pipelight works with Chromium 34 on every Ubuntu version other than Trusty and it also works in Google Chrome 34. For more information take a look at the other bug report. Though as soon as version 35 is released it is going to stop working anyway.
