Bug Description

Pinta 1.2 on Windows XP sp3:
1. Create some folder in Windows Explorer like: c:\test
2. Open Pinta, draw something and save image into c:\test\test.png
3. Close Pinta.
4. Go to Windows Explorer and delete folder c:\test
5. Open Pinta.
6. File | Open and error message is displayed:
"The folder contents could not be displayed" Error stating file "c:\test": No such file or directory.

Note: Click on OK button and error message disappear. It looks like Pinta has saved last path and now when trying to open from non-existing path, error is displayed. This is probably correct behavior, but I don't like the "Error" icon, I think it should only display a more pleasant "Warning" icon.

I think that dialog is part of GTK, so I'm not sure how easy it would be to override it.

Alternatively, if the last saved path doesn't exist, Pinta could just immediately go to a default directory instead of showing an error first.

Cameron, I agree this is even better, instead of error message just go to default directory.
P.S. I agree this is low priority and we can solve this letter when there are no crash-reports anymore.

Tested in pinta-1.3-preview-20120425 on Windows XP. Problem fixed. It defaults to Pinta default path.
