Bug Description
Context:
I was trying to make a mock-up for an application and needed to duplicate an area.
I copied an area, pasted it whereupon it pasted it to the top left of the image rather than of the zoomed area so I zoomed out to grab it. (Filed as bug#1094444)
Bug:
On grabbing it, whilst it was still selected, I zoomed back in but the selected area became corrupted, as if it was zoomed in as the image was zoomed in.

Hi Nick,
For clarification, did you zoom out, press and hold the left mouse button on the pasted image, and then zoom in with the mouse wheel while continuing to hold the left mouse button? I don't have a mouse with a mouse wheel to confirm that this is a problem at the moment unfortunately.
