Bug Description
I've been looking through the Ubuntu Software Center reviews for Pinta, and people are posting reviews like "Pinta is great, but it's a shame it cannot open multiple images at once".
Actually, Pinta *can* open multiple images at once, but this feature is hidden in the Window menu and hard for the average user to find. It should show something to allow quickly switching between documents, such as a tab bar.

Few months ago I have suggested the "tools window" for this kind of problem: /bugs.launchpad .net/pinta/ +bug/671449

Or there could also be something similar like Paint.net has - at top right site of program there are something like "tabs", but it is also a small preview of picture at the same time, which makes easier to select appropriate picture to edit. (See attachment).
