The "File type" dropdown should not be empty at any moment, isn't it? It should have an item pre.selected always, to avoid errors like this one.

If I open a new image
Draw something
Then go to "Save As" the "File Type" is automatically defaulted to " *.jpg, *.jpeg"

However if I open a previously saved image and goto "Save As" the "File Type" is blank

I can confirm this bug using "Save As" option. I think the "Save As" should by default use the same file type as current file. If file is new then default should be PNG (just like a Save option).
