Crop to Selection only crops to a rectangle

Bug Description
1. Use lasso select
2. Start selecting
3. Press Crop to Selection button (what becomes cropped is a rectangle and not the actual selection; there is no transparency underneath nor is the selection still active)
Also happens with the Ellipses Select.

I have installed Pinta 0.7 on Windows XP and I can confirm problem is fixed (like a behavior in Paint.net in comment #1).

I have tested this in Paint.net and it crops to rectangle but it makes all outer selection in transparent.
