Bug Description

The redo and undo buttons are facing each other instead of pointing at the opposite direction. (I'm using Pinta 0.4 in Ubuntu 10.10 with Hebrew pack).

Kind regards,

Can you please attach print screen, how does redo/undo buttons looks in you case. I think the best would be if two picture are attached:
1. first picture: how does it look now in Pinta 0.4
2. second picture: move around icons in image as you think is correct and attach "correct order".

Above request may look strange to you, but I am not familiar with RTL systems, so I don't even know if this is RTL related problem or not.

I am using Pinta 0.5 and I see undo then redo button (from left to right). Can you install Pinta 0.5 on your system and check if this solved the problem:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:moonlight-team/pinta
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install pinta

Similar bug (not exactly the same) was also reported related to undu/redo Gnome HIG: https://bugs.launchpad.net/pinta/+bug/671467 and fixes will be available in 0.6 version (release is estimated in January or beginning of February).

I wonder how other apps handle this. Is this something Gtk+ is supposed to handle, or is it up to the application to detect RTL and switch the buttons manually?

Well, thats a regression since GTK did not have this problem in former versions, this problem appeared pretty recently and it affects Nautilus as well...
