Bug Description

I have downloaded Pinta 2.2-development on Ubuntu 22.10 from Github: https://github.com/PintaProject/Pinta/actions/runs/4525610835 master branch.

Also tested on Pinta 2.1.1 on Ubuntu 22.10 and on Pinta 2.1.1. on Windows 10.

1. Type some text with Text object and do not finalize the text.
2. Right click on text and move the image. Problem appears. On top of image some small icon appears (icon is different according to Pinta version and operating system - see attachment - sorry for blurry images, I pictured them with phone, because can't produce the image when print-screen is pressed).

This small icon can be especially annoying if I am required to type additional text to existing text. I do the following: a) type some text, b) do something else and I notice I need to change text c) I select Text object and type text d) now I have to move new text to existing text, but this small icon overlays the text, so it is difficult to center text correctly.

This icon should be removed or it should be placed so it does not obscures the view of underlying image.

This was a weird one - the cursor for the hand icon / pan tool wasn't being compiled properly so this "missing image" icon was showing up instead for the cursor

Should be fixed by https://github.com/PintaProject/Pinta/commit/3be3a92c8d9a23e2701117db6ee04eecf0f47a84
