The shortcut key for ellipse select and magic wand select are the same: S

This is not a bug. Some tools have the same keyboard shorts. Similar shortcut O is used for many tools.

Maybe we can change this bug report to feature request, for every tool make different keyboard shortcut.

One useful thing to note is that pressing S multiple times will cycle through the selection tools

There might not be a sensible single-character shortcut for every tool, but I think it's a reasonable thing to look into
