This problem looks to me to old Pinta versions that were having this kind of problem. In Pinta can you please check Help | About and post here Pinta version.

If it is older then 2.0.2 (most probably), can you please test the Pinta/flatpak or Pinta/snap package and report if problem is solved.

Pinta/Flatpack:
https://flathub.org/apps/details/com.github.PintaProject.Pinta

Pinta/Snap:

Also, if you can reproduce the problem, please write step-by-step instructions how to reproduce the problem.

I don't really know if that means that you're using Pinta 1.7 or 2.0? :)

Fedora 35 looks like it has Pinta 1.7 in its repository, so I'd guess that's the version you have unless you installed from snap or flatpak

I Uninstalled Pinta V 2.0.2 (which I installed via flathub - where problem arises)

Ver 1.7.1 working just fine (installed via repository)

Thanks, if you could try launching the flatpak version via the command line it would be useful to see the output

After installing, I think it would be 'flatpak run com.github.PintaProject.Pinta'
