Bug Description
1. Select the ellipse tool
2. Draw an ellipse
3. Select the line tool
4. Try to draw the oblique bar from the 🚫 sign
Expected: the currently selected tool remains "line"
Actual: the circle morphs into a rectangle, but the selected tool is still the ellipse
