Bug Description
I experienced a very weird bug, when moving a rectangle selection. Its size changed while moving it around!?
Steps to reproduce:
* Create an image 744 x 450
* CTRL + A, Delete (remove all whitespace)
* Use the Line tool to draw any random line
* CTRL +A, CTRL +C (copy all)
* CTRL+N Create a new image 1920*450
* CTRL+V (paste first image)
* Move the selection
You can now see on the top that the selection size changes from 744, 450 to 744, 449. It depends on where the image is moved, just move it around and you will see the numbers flip. The box on screen also resizes. I've noticed this bug, because I wanted to add an image on top, move it a bit right and suddenly the original box became smaller.
Note: It does not work with smaller resolutions on the second image (like 1200x450). It seems the larger the image, so larger the difference. I think it also is important that the first image contains transparent elements.
I am using version 1.7 on ArchLinux.

I think this may have been fixed very recently with bug 1904304 - I couldn't reproduce it in my testing after enabling those changes.
Could you test it out and verify? There are some packages available from https:/ /github. com/PintaProjec t/Pinta/ actions/ runs/363799953 (requires github login), or on Arch Linux I think there is a pinta-git package for obtaining the latest development version.
