Bug Description

Xubuntu 20.04
Mono 6.8
Pinta v1.7

I've had three crashes this morning.

[1] Crashed on first opening when I focused on another window.
[2] Crashed when I tried sharpen effect.
[3] I gave up.

Found mono blob in two directories pose crash. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

This is probably a duplicate of bug 1877235 - can you try updating to Mono 6.10 as described in that bug report?

One 183 Mb update later and it's better but after adjusting layer properties with F4 the cursor stays in tool mode and I can't access the text menus.

What do you mean by accessing the text menus? The menu bar at the top of the application?
