Fill Stype in FreeForm Shape does not work properly

Bug Description
Latest Pinta PPA update 1.7+r1106-
1. In Palette leave primary color to black and select secondary color to red.
2. From Tools select Freeform Shape.
3. Draw freeform shape that it looks similar to ellipse.
4. From Fill Style select Fill Shape and PROBLEM APPEARS. I expect freeform to get filled with secondary color, but nothing happens.
5. Click on New button from toolbar.
6. Select 800x600 and OK button.
7. Draw freeform shape on canvas and shape is correctly drawn and filled.

The freeform shape tool isn't re-editable like the other shape tools (line/curve, rectangle, etc) which is probably why it's not updating live
