Bug Description

os: archlinux
de: plasma-desktop 5.17.4-2 (X11)
pinta: 1.6-4
telegram-desktop: 1.8.15-2

How to reproduce:
1. Launch pinta
2. Find a random image in google. Image must be larger than default canvas size in pinta
3. Copy-paste image from google to pinta. Agree to resize the canvas
4. Copy-paste image from pinta to telegram-desktop

Copy-pasting blank canvas or canvas with some simple drawings with and without resize does not seem to reproduce the error.

This is the log:
The program 'Pinta' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'.
  (Details: serial 6585 error_code 3 request_code 18 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

When exactly does Pinta crash in step 4? In copy process in pinta or in paste process in telegram-desktop?
