Error message, when opening a file.

Bug Description

When opening a file, I'm getting the error: "Could not retrieve information about the file. Invalid byte sequence in conversion input".

However, the files are normally opening.

Latest Pinta version (1.6).
On Win 10 Pro x64. v.10.0.15063.

Oh...my fault!
I didn't explain properly. Sorry|!! :-(

This happens, before launching any image.
Just going file -> open is bringing the error message atop of explorer window.

Opening files, doesn't have anything to do with that.
(Launching an image from recents, is perfectly OK).
Maybe it has something to do with GTK?
