Pinta closing when I draw a rectangle over a image

Bug Description
When I open a image file (tested on a jpg and png file), so I try to draw some rectangles, and Pinta freeze for seconds, die and close. Pinta window disappear from desktop. Running Pinta in Ubuntu Mate 17.04 x64.
