Bug Description
I've split my screen in two, pinta on the left, nautilus on the right.
I dragged one picture.jpg to pinta canva. It pasted correctly.
I dragged a second picture.png (with transparency if it matters) and it makes the whole system (Ubuntu 16.04) not able to response anymore. It tried to fill a bug report but didn't seem to achieve it. As the system gave a response every 5 minutes, I forced a shut down after 10 minutes.
Background applications weren't affected that much thou; My music from Youtube restarted after the first 5 minutes without my intervention.
