Bug Description
I downloaded Pinta 1.6, released under the MIT X11 License, when I upgraded my operating system to Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.4.
I also downloaded the Mono Universal Installer package because my Mac is 64 bit. It installed just fine. I didn't run any of the Hello World tests, because I couldn't find a file named hello.cs on my computer.
I'm writing because when I try the Text tool in Pinta, I am able to click on the image where I intend to insert the text.
However, when I begin typing, I notice that my tool changes to the Hand tool when I typed "h" and no text appears on the image window. It seems that whatever I type only gets me to a particular tool in the left column Toolbar in Pinta.
Is this a bug? Or did I install something that made Pinta not work at all?
The last version of Pinta I used before I had to upgrade my operating system didn't have this problem.
The only way I can get text to show up in an image in Pinta now is to type it out in a word processing software, copy the text and then paste it in where I clicked on the image with the Text Tool. I can't type in the Pinta program at all.
