Bug Description

Pinta 1.7.0.202 development from forge.pinta-project.com.

1. Click on Text object from Tools panel.
2. Click on canvas.
3. Type in text: abc"
4. It is obvious I forgot to type double quote at beginning of text. So press CTRL+left_arrow_key two times.
5. Type in double quote and text inside double quotes disappears. Problem.

It looks like when the cursor is moving right to left with Ctrl held down it is selecting text as well instead of just moving the cursor.

Jonathan, you are right, I haven't noticed this. It looks like <CTRL>+left arror key or <CTRL>+right arrow key also mark the text. Text selecting/marking should only be when Shift key is also pressed, so <CTRL>+<SHIFT>+arrow key should jump to next word and mark the text, but <CTRL>+arrow key should only jump to next word and not select it. This is bug. I am marking the bug as Confirmed, because Jonathan has also been able to reproduce.
