Bug Description

Pinta 1.7.0.132 on Windows 7

1. Rectangle Select and select some area on canvas.
2. Deselect all icon from toolbar. First little problem. It looks like selection is deselected, but Deselect button does not grey out.
3. Rectangle and draw something on canvas and problem appears. No drawing is displayed on canvas.
It looks like no tool is working anymore. I tried Paint Bucket, Paintbrush, Pencil, Line, Ellipse ...

I only see work around to close down image and reopening it to fix the problem. This is quite a serious problem. It probably deserves to have High Importance priority.

Also tested on Pinta 1.7.0.132 on Ubuntu 14.04 and the same problem.

I have tested Pinta dev. 1.7.0.140 on Windows 7 and problem is fixed. Excellent. Thanks.

P.S. This bug is a proof that having forge.pinta-project.com is excellent idea. I don't see a big problem of having regression bugs, because they can be spotted early in development and fixed. Without "forge" development got a lot of new features and plenty of new bugs. Then pre-release was issued and then testing was done, because late in development a lot of bugs got into officially stable release that was not perfect. Then releasing a new version was challenging, because of multitude of the bugs. In my humble opinion we are on the right track, so don't worry, do reworking/refactoring/improve code/experiment etc, because I also enjoy being on the journey with you, testing is a bit a pleasure/challenge to me to find out new bugs, but also experience new features right after they are committed. Thanks doing excellent work.
