Bug Description
Pinta dev 1.6.0.110 on Ubuntu 14.04.
1. Start Pinta e.g. from terminal: mono Pinta.exe
2. New image 800 x 600.
3. Mark some selection on canvas and Cut from toolbar.
4. New image icon and in Preset is now selected as Clipboard (don't know if this works like designed - I just "hate" this Clipboard option), select 800 x 600 and OK button.
5. Repeat step 3. It looks like you can't get rid of this "Clipboard" option. In this case I expect to have 800 x 600 preset, because this was the last selection from previous step.
6. Close Pinta and reopen (you know like: mono Pinta.exe from terminal line) and New image and this annoying "Clipboard" option is still there set as preset.
I see one of the rare things in Pinta annoying and this New "Clipboard" feature makes me crazy, I constantly change this setting. What I would really love to do is to press: CTRL+N and just press Enter to get the last selection I performed.
This the same behaviour that Pinta's always had - if there is an image on the clipboard, the new image dialog defaults to using the size of that image. It's just a little more obvious what's happening now, since there's a label indicating that the clipboard size is being used.
I can see the argument, though, for this being annoying if an image that you don't care about is still on the clipboard
