This looks like a drop-down list DESIGN bug. I have compared Pinta vs. LibreOffice (see attachment). In Pinta current selection stays at current position of drop-down input box and displays all other options above or bellow. If there are too many options above and window is in maximum position then additional scroolbars appears. But in LibreOffice current selection does not stay at default input box position, but it just appears at the bottom where it belongs.
Just wondering is there maybe some option like drop-down list object setting to control how does drop-down list opens? If yes, can we change this default to behave like in LibreOffice?
If there is no option, then I am afraid we can't do much in Pinta, this is probably upstream design issue. Isn't it? I am just afraid for average Joe that he will get confused of this kind of design...
We can probably lower the bug status or if you think this is not a bug make it Invalid.
