You need to give us more information about your issues. There is not enough information in this bug report for developers to be able to reproduce the problem.

Patrick, I have tested latest development preview and it is working fine. I guess you are using some exotic software combination like in latest posts in mailing list and reporting a bug tracker.

- Gtk# version
- .NET version
- Pinta version

Are you using some other software like Mono?

P.S. "assignee" should be only used by developers (= people writing source code). You as a bug reporter should not assign yourself to a bug. You are "reporter" of bug, not "assignee".

Patrick, we need more information about the bugs you're experiencing - "spiral failed" does not provide enough information for the developers to be able to do anything.
