gdm3 settings, no delay auto login hangs on boot, no desktop

Bug Description

I set auto login for 0 delay. On reeboot it hung before getting to the splash screen. Accessed /etc/gdm/custom.conf using another distro and edited to change the value of "automatic login" to "0." This allowed me to log in again.
